OVERVIEW

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (DEEE) is founded in the Faculty of Engineering.

Following the Faculty of Engineering’s primary mission to impart advanced technical knowledge and theory to students, the department aims at fostering creativity and innovation within the realm of sustainable systems engineering.

Sustainable Systems Engineering integrates principles from various engineering disciplines to design and develop systems that are environmentally sustainable, energy-efficient, and socially responsible which aligns with the university’s mission to inspire environmental sustainability for better life.

The department has well equipped ultra – modern student instruction amenities for teaching and state-of-the-art Laboratories staffed with qualified technologists for practicals. Our teaching staff are vibrant scholars who are motivated to teach, train and research in collaboration with our students.

Currently, the department offers one undergraduate programme: BSc. Electrical and Electronics engineering which assimilates principles from other disciplines, including; Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental and Computer engineering to deliver exceptional graduates to the industry.
